Look at the prayer of Moses:
Deuteronomy 32:2 "Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants."
Look at what Paul says:
1 Corinthians 3:6-7
"I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow."
The Word of God is like dew and rain that water our souls and enable us to grow into spiritual maturity.
